Holly Kim is a 14 year old cellist from New York who has been studying cello with Ms. Stinson at Juilliard Pre-college. Holly won first place in the Island Symphony Orchestra Young Performers' competition and will perform her solo with the symphony orchestra at Suffolk Community College. She performed as a soloist at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall as a Grand Prix Prize Winner of the Concert Festival International Competition. She won first prize in the Rondo Young Artist Festival and silver prize for the Bravura's Young Artist Concerto Competition. She was also awarded for the Young Artists Competition of Friday Woodmere Music Club, National League of Performing Arts Concerto Competition, New York Music competition, and the KRB Radio Korea Music Competition.


Holly has performed in various venues including Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall, Tilles Center for Performing Arts, The Peter Jay Sharp Theater, and the Paul & Morse Halls at The Juilliard School.


Holly has attended music programs including C.W. Post Music Festival, and the Greenwood Music Camp. She is going to participate the Interharmony Music Festival in Germany this summer. She is currently a member of the World Youth Alliance Chamber Orchestra. She has performed in numerous solos and ensembles for non-profit organizations.


Holly is in the ninth grade at Roslyn High School in Roslyn Heights, NY and is a member of the Barracudas Triathlon Team.
