Henri Vieuxtemps : Concerto Nr. 5 in a min. Op. 37

Violinist Jeffrey Liu was born in Princeton, New Jersey. He started playing piano at the age of five and violin at the age of seven. Jeffrey is a five-time golden winner in the New York State School Music Association Contest in district # 4. He has also been the concertmaster of Westchester All-County Orchestra for five consecutive years. Jeffrey has won the top prizes of many competitions, including 1st Place in the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition, 1st Place in the Wagner College Young Musicians’ Competition, 2nd Place in the International Virtuoso Competition, and 3rd Place in the New York Music Competition. He has also performed in many facilities, including Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, and more. Currently, Jeffrey is in his third year studying violin at The Juilliard School Pre-College Division with Dr. Ann Setzer and is also a sophomore at Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, New York. He plays in the school chamber orchestra and performs regularly at church.
