"Rondo Young Artist gives performers of pre - college age an array of opportunities to perform in major concert venues. The very best players are selected for Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall. I find the condition of the competition to be very fair both artistically and financially. No method and compilations book repertoire is accepted, however artistically valid transcriptions are allowed. Last Spring my student was lucky to be included in the Weill Recital Hall program. I found the entire atmosphere before, during and after the performance to be very festive and friendly. I am looking forward to performances of my two students in the same hall on May 4th."

This exceptionally well-organized festival provided students the privilege of performance hall rehearsal time as well as the opportunity to perform in well-known concert halls. The Rondo Festival upheld an outstanding standard of music-making which encouraged all the festival participants to strive towards higher musical ambitions. "I was delighted to learn about Rondo festival few years ago. I am a piano teacher in Geneva Switzerland who formerly lived in New York. Rather way i thought that for my swiss students this would be a unique opportunity and honor to participate. For 2 consecutive years we have come to NY to participate in Rondo Festival. I can say that this is extremely well organized, the atmosphere is truly fantastic , while maintaining the highest professional standards at the same time organizers manage not to create stressful and competitive mood among participants. The whole concert feels like a big celebration and it makes students feel appreciated, supported and admired both by audience and organizers.
My student who has performed in Weill Recital Hall last year was so inspired by the whole experience that she wan the 1 st prize at the All Swiss Young Musicians Competition the following month. I am very much looking forward to bringing more students to participate in this wonderful festival , i think that such experience is very important for young musicians since this creates memory that will stay with you all your life. I know that for my students coming to New York and performing in Carnegie Hall is something they will remember all their life."
